The self-propel system engaged with such extreme, aggressive torque that the user described needing immense physical strength to hold the heavy machine back and prevent it from running loose into the neighborhood.
In an attempt to neutralize the runaway mower, the user removed the designated safety key, which is engineered to act as a hard electrical emergency stop. However, this critical safety feature failed entirely, and the motor continued to run at full speed. The user was forced to physically wrestle the powerful, fully-powered mower and forcefully rip the FlexVolt batteries out of the deck to finally kill the power.
