A licensed Professional Engineer in California, Dr. Shatnawi previously served as Division Chief at Caltrans, overseeing over $700 million in programs related to design standards and highway maintenance. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Transportation) and adjunct professorships at California State University and National University.
