About Our Firm
Meet Alex Farzan
Founder
Alex Farzan is a first-generation son of Iranian Jewish immigrants. He is a native “Angelino” and attended Calabasas High School. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC San Diego in 2013. During college, Alex founded a music newspaper and studied Spanish in Barcelona, Spain. Alex then went on to pursue a legal career at Pepperdine University, where he earned his J.D., with cum laude honors, in 2016.
In his early legal career, Alex worked for one of the largest defense firms in the nation. He served as national counsel for a Fortune 500 company, where he defended cases involving exploding lithium-ion batteries in e-cigarettes that caused catastrophic injuries to individuals.
In 2021, Alex founded his law practice, and never looked back. In the early days, he operated his business out of his apartment bedroom, and would lick envelopes and drop them in the mailbox himself. Other law firms who wanted to offload their “bad cases” would transfer their cases to Alex, and he would squeeze a dollar out of fifteen cents. Naturally, Alex’s law practice has grown steadily and consistently, as the network of people who have noticed his quality representation continued to grow. While Alex’s law practice grows, he remains dedicated to providing personal representation to each one of his clients, as he will always value quality over quantity—not just in law practice, but in every aspect of life.
It is deeply embedded in Alex’s DNA to do things differently and think outside the box. In his spare time, Alex is an avid musician and backgammon player. He has self-recorded and mixed four studio albums, the last of which can be found on Spotify. Alex also is a professional level backgammon player. In 2023, he was a finalist (second place) in the Los Angeles Open. He is a winner of the Sephardic Backgammon Club, three-time champion of the Venice Backgammon Club, and a member of Gammon Associates, the most competitive backgammon league in Los Angeles.
When clients work with Alex, a bond is developed. Alex is dedicated to fostering healthy and personal relationships with clients so that they can be represented with dignity and respect. This is his mission, and we are hopeful that injury victims have the opportunity to experience this rewarding style of representation.
